Job Details POSITION PURPOSE
The Financial Manger is in charge of the day-to-day internal business
financial functions for multiple highly complex programs. Responsible
for providing financial advice and support to the management team to
enable them to make sound business decisions. Financial considerations
are at the root of all major business decisions. Clear budgetary
planning is essential for future planning in both short and long term.
In addition, Financial Manager must ensure that financial practices are
in line with all statutory legislation and regulations.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Drive business by assisting sourcing teams to proactively cost out
and private label (margin) opportunities
- Conduct supplier financial healthy assessment for all new vendors/factories
- Finance analysis support to all sourcing events including PLR, OTB etc
- Annual G&A budget development
- Manage and approve expense to budget
- Monthly management metrics review
- Office procurement management
- Actively track China economical environment and responsible for
report out on findings on a regular basis
- Providing and interpreting financial information;
- Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends;
- Analyzing change and advising accordingly;
- Formulating strategic and long-term business plans;
- Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance;
- Analyzing competitors and market trends;
- Developing financial management mechanisms that minimise financial risk;
- Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities;
- Managing a company's financial accounting;
- Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out;
- Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines;
- Managing budgets;
- Supervising staff;
- Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and
legislation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Finance/Accounting/Economics, CPA or MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years experience in an multinational company is required
- 2 years leadership experience is desired.
- Good potential to be developed as a financial leader
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power Point etc)

with different functions and his/her internal customers
- Has a high sense of customer service
- Proactive and a “can do” attitude
- Process oriented and a good understanding of continuous improvement
- Motivated team player
- Excellent command of written and spoken English. Fluency in
Mandarin is a must

Chinese are essential
- Able to work under pressure and within extremely short time frame
- Self motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects
- Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
